FAQ/Questions and answers

Straight answers.

The questions parents, students, founders and schools ask me, answered in one place. Each answer is the one I'd give you on a call.

Parents

What parents ask.

Does my child need a business idea first?

Tier 1 needs an idea, and I help find it. Before week one, each student picks three things they love, works out how each could make money, and chooses one. I go through it with them in a short 1:1 before the course starts.

How much time does it take each week?

Three to four hours, including the two one-hour live sessions. The sessions are short so they fit around school and homework.

Does this replace school?

No. It runs alongside school. School covers exams, and the programme covers the business skills school leaves out.

Which tier should my child join?

Tier 1 needs an idea. Tier 2 needs a product and an offer. Tier 3 needs a business that already has customers. I confirm the tier on the call, once I've heard where your child is.

Who supervises the sessions and the 1:1s?

My father, Dan Bradbury, is the supervising adult on the programme. You can ask to be copied into any communication with your child, and to see anything I share with them.

My child is under 18. How do they take payments?

Most payment and selling platforms require an account holder aged 18 or over. A parent sets up those accounts before the course starts. I explain what is needed on the call.

Will my child appear in your videos or posts?

Only with signed consent from you and from your child, given for each item. Without it, nothing of theirs is shown.

What does it cost?

Each tier has its own fee. I confirm the fee for your child's tier on the call and in the course overview, before you commit to anything.

The programme

How the programme runs.

Is it online?

Yes. The live sessions run online, so a student can join from anywhere.

What if my child misses a session?

Every session is recorded. A student who misses one watches it back, and the weekly check-in with me covers anything they are stuck on.

When does it start, and how long does it last?

The first cohort starts the week of 4 January 2027. Tier 1 runs for four weeks, Tier 2 for six and Tier 3 for eight. Each has two one-hour live sessions a week.

What does a student have at the end of Tier 1?

A business that is live: an idea that passed my checks, a product with a price, a page, and 20 real attempts to reach customers. They present it at a showcase, with parents welcome, and leave with a plan for the next 30 days.

What comes after Tier 1?

A student who finishes Tier 1 can move on to Tier 2, where the business gets customers and runs on a system.

How do we join?

Book a call with me. After the call I send the course overview in writing. You and your child then sign a course agreement, and the place is confirmed once it is signed.

Students

What students ask.

I'm under 18. Can I contact you myself?

Yes. Write to me through the contact page. If it is about joining the programme, add a parent's email, because nobody under 18 joins without an agreement signed by a parent.

I don't have an idea yet. Can I still join?

Yes. Before week one you pick three things you love, work out how each could make money, and choose one. I go through it with you in a short 1:1.

I already run a business. Is this too basic for me?

No. You join at the tier that matches where you are. Tier 2 is for a student with a product and an offer. Tier 3 is for a business that already has customers.

What can my business be about?

One built around something you love. It has to pass three checks: it can make a first sale within four weeks, it costs little to start, and it is legal to run under 18.

Do I need to know how to use AI already?

No. I teach each AI tool at the point your business needs it, starting with research in week one.

Working with me

Founders, schools and everyone else.

I'm a founder. Why would I write to you?

To compare notes. I contact founders my age directly, and I'm glad when they contact me. I have nothing to sell you.

Do you work with schools and organisations?

I'm open to it. Tell me the age group and what you have in mind, and I'll reply with what I can offer.

How quickly do you reply?

Within two working days, by email. I read every message myself.

Where can I follow what you're building?

On Instagram, at @jensonbradbury36. I post what I'm building and what I learn from it in short videos.
